M7

Business idea

M7 (“M seven”) provides project management and engineering services to the oil & gas industry - with focus on process plants (Topsides), modules and skids for Floating Production Storage & Offloading Units (FPSO’s). Key customers are ship owners, oil companies and contractors.

We have process systems as core knowledge, but unlike some “process houses” we believe in strong participation from other disciplines as automation and layout. Even though we recognise the importance of conceptual knowledge, we also believe that experience from detail engineering , fabrication and completion activities is a vital part of truly understand what is taken to deliver a quality product and to be a reliable partner our Clients.

M7 are located in Norway and Singapore. The 2 hubs are meant to cover a larger market, but also meant to be complimentary in skills.

Key words for what we are, and how we want to act, are the 7 M's:

M7’s personnel have long experience in Project and Module Management; here represented by Jan Peter Harto during his assignment as Project Manager for Hamworthy Moss Inert Gas system for Pazfloor FPSO

Modules – we have spent our last 5-25 years designing modules for process equipment to the oil industry, many of them on FPSO’s.

Management – we have project management and supervision experience from the smallest equipment part to large Topsides.

Many details – despite management focus, we have never lost interest for the many details needed for success.

Multidiscipline – we cover most of the key engineering disciplines involved in building process modules and skids.

Moving fast – we are impatient, and hate delays.

Methods – we believe efficient methods and planning create success for our customers and secure a safe and ethical working environment.

Mission – Modules for the 7 seas!

In other words; our Business Idea is to use our life-long experience to do efficient and safe project execution and engineering. We want to stay as a player in this marked, we want to expand steady and slowly, we want to be careful but impatient, we want to explore new technology and markets and we want to have a “playful” approach to today’s work – we want to have fun!
