Jørgen has a BSc in Chemical Engineering from DIA (Denmark) 1989. His first entry into the oil and gas industry was in 1991, when he joined a small consultancy in the UK, which had special emphasis on produced water and water injection systems. During this period, Jørgen also had the taste of offshore reality, with small commissioning and troubleshooting assignments. Jørgen came to Norway in 1995 to participate in the Shell Draugen Upgrade project. During this period, he joined ABB (later Vetco).
In ABB/Vetco, Jørgen has been involved in various concept studies and projects as e.g the Hydro’s Heimdal Riser Platform, after which he joined the Business Unit for Process products and FPSO modules.
In this Business Unit, focusing on the shipowner market, Jørgen has been lead for the process discipline and has been essential in system design and concept definition for topsides. He has held project positions as Process Lead and Engineering Manager in international projects with module deliveries like Sendje Ceiba, Chinguetti, Volve and Vincent.
In M7; Jørgen has been responsible for process and later project manager for M7's part of the Bialbri project, and also been involved in all process related tasks within M7.Â
