After studying mechanical engineering at Telemark College in Norway, class of 1996, Gerard started his career as Project Engineer for “SHS AS”, a company supplying mechanical bulk handling systems.
After a year he moved on to Techpower as where he worked for 3-1/2 years as a consultant for various companies where he specialized in CAD in addition to other project related work.
Between 2001 and 2004 Gerard worked as Technical Consultant/Project Manager for “Nessco AS”, one of Norway’s leading companies in compressed air and vacuum systems.
In 2004 Gerard proceeded to a position as a Project Manager for “Scanship Environmental AS”, a Norwegian company based in Tønsberg which is a worldwide supplier of environmental solutions for the cruise ship industry.
Gerard joined M7 1st of June 2007 as a hired consultant from Top Temp Engineering. His position is Senior Mechanical and Layout Engineer.
In M7; Gerard has mainly been working with piping and pipe support for M7's scope on AFP's Aker Smart 1 - Reliance project.
His main interests are traveling, photography and carpentry. Including Norwegian, Gerard makes him self understood on 5 languages.
